Job summary

RTX in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Power Electronics & Controls engineer to design, analyze, and test power conversion circuitry, including DC/DC/AC converters. You will guide ECAD staff on PCB layouts and deliver designs within schedules.

The role requires a STEM degree and experience with analog electronics, FET/BJT/op-amp work, and non-isolated topologies such as buck/boost. Onsite work and U.S. citizenship for security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering or math (STEM).
• Experience with analog electronics and passive components.
• Experience with buck/boost converter topologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, simulate, and test power conversion circuitry.
• Guide ECAD personnel through PCB layouts and drawings.
• Work within project schedules and present technical reviews.
