Job summary

RTX’s Effector Guidance Electronics (EGE) team in Huntsville, AL seeks a candidate to contribute to power electronics design and testing within a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment.

You will design, analyze, simulate, and test power conversion circuits, guide ECAD and PCB layout, and present technical reviews to leadership. This role offers challenging opportunities and relocation eligibility within RTX's aerospace defense mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in STEM and hands-on experience with power electronics.
• Experience with non-isolated converter topologies: buck/boost.
• Experience with analog design and testing incl. FET/BJT/Op-amp.
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze (thermal), simulate, and test power conversion circuitry.
• Guide ECAD personnel through PCB layout and technical drawings.
• Perform design work within the bounds of a given schedule.
• Present reviews of technical data to program leadership and staff.
