Job summary

Pike Engineering in North Carolina is seeking a Power Engineering Technologist at level 2 to support the engineering team with advanced technical analysis for power distribution designs. This on-site role reports to operational leadership and emphasizes safe, reliable, and cost-effective solutions.

Qualifications

• Regular attendance is required.
• 2–4 years of experience in utility power distribution engineering or related craft work.
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle suitable for business use.

Responsibilities

• Independently develop moderately complex distribution designs for overhead and underground systems.
• Prepare project packages with material lists, requisitions, and drawings.
• Collaborate with construction teams, clients, and customers to address design issues.
• Perform field assessments to validate system conditions and customer needs.
• Participate in storm restoration activities as needed.
