Job summary

The position requires experience with customer design workflows and the ability to interpret codes and standards while producing detailed project packages and field validation.

Responsibilities

• Interpret codes, standards, regulations and guidelines; maintain records and files in company systems.
• Develop moderate to complex electrical distribution facility designs for various customers.
• Create safe, cost-effective designs for overhead or underground projects across geographic areas.
• Prepare project packages with material lists, drawings and requisitions for installations.
• Coordinate with construction personnel and clients to resolve design or customer issues.
• Create work requests with the current work management tool and communicate schedules and expectations.
• Apply reliability principles to resolve power quality issues and ensure safe, cost-effective designs.
• Build relationships with internal/external customers to support business goals.
• Perform field work to validate customer and system requirements.
• Assist with training other employees and promote ALL safety policies.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
