Job summary

Pike Corporation is seeking a Power Engineering Technologist (Level 3) for an on-site role in Greenville, SC. You will analyze complex distribution designs, develop project packages, and collaborate with clients to ensure safe and reliable power solutions across diverse projects.

The role emphasizes mentoring, field assessments, and participation in storm restoration as needed, with a strong focus on safety and quality in all activities.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in utility power distribution engineering or related craft work.
• High school diploma or GED; some client projects may require an Associate degree.

Responsibilities

• Interpret codes and develop complex overhead and underground distribution designs across multiple geographic areas.
• Create detailed project packages with materials lists, requisitions, site layouts and construction drawings.
• Collaborate with construction teams, clients, and customers to resolve design and site challenges; communicate schedules and expectations.
• Evaluate loading, power quality and reliability to deliver safe, compliant solutions for complex distribution systems.
• Perform field assessments to validate system conditions and client needs; build strong relationships.
• Support training and development of less experienced team members; participate in storm restoration activities when needed.
