Job summary

Pike Engineering in Fort Mill, SC is seeking an entry-level team member to support our Engineering group. This role blends office and field work, providing hands-on experience applying technical skills to design safe, reliable, and cost-effective power distribution solutions.

You will learn design workflows, enter data accurately, and develop a foundational understanding of project requirements through mentorship from engineers. Regular attendance and on-site work are essential.

Qualifications

• Regular attendance is required.
• High school diploma or GED (Some projects may require an Associate degree).
• 0–2 years of experience in power distribution engineering, electrical craft work, or GIS/CAD-related work.

Responsibilities

• Regular on-site attendance is required; no remote work.
• Interpret and comply with codes, regulations, policies, and procedures while maintaining project documentation.
• Assist with development of complete project and job packages, including drawings, material lists, estimates, and requisitions using company and client design software.
• Prepare project and job packages with drawings, material lists, estimates, and requisitions using company tools.
• Provide regular project status updates and maintain relationships with internal and external partners to meet timelines and objectives.
• Engage in ongoing learning and mentorship from engineers and supervisors.
• Participate in storm restoration activities as needed.

Education
