Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking an ambitious Power Distribution Project Manager to join our team, overseeing a portfolio of power distribution design projects and contributing to growth of the power delivery service group.

This role offers opportunities to expand from project management into client account management and development. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of engineering design and/or management experience on power distribution projects, with strong leadership,

Qualifications

Lead projects in the preparation of utility engineering designs, cost estimates, and customer billing.
Manage the engineering and financial aspects of multiple projects ranging from 120V to 34.5kV.
Prepare scope and estimates for proposals and statements of qualifications to utility clients.
Develop project work plans and budget projections to effectively deploy people on project.
Review, interpret, and act upon business metrics including backlog, work in process, account receivables, work bookings, and revenue.
Prepare, maintain and coordinate schedules of multiple concurrent projects.
Develop and track milestones to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
Manage and provide guidance for professional communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Coordinate internal/external reviews of designs completed prior to submissions.
Collaborate with the department management to develop, evaluate, and implement new policies and procedures reflecting best engineering practices.
Collaborate with other departments and divisions on company-wide initiatives.
Maintain great relationships with our existing clients and seek out opportunities with potential future clients.
