Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Power Distribution Project Manager to join our team and lead engineering design projects within the power delivery sector.

The role focuses on managing a portfolio of distribution projects, coordinating with internal teams and clients, and developing strategies to grow the power distribution service group. 4+ years of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Multidisciplinary Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• 4+ years of experience in Power Distribution Design.
• Ability to independently direct a team of Engineers & Technicians while maintaining quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects in the preparation of utility engineering designs, cost estimates, and customer billing.
• Manage the engineering and financial aspects of multiple projects from 120V to 34.5kV.
• Develop project work plans and budgets to deploy personnel effectively.
• Review and act on business metrics such as backlog, WIP, and revenue.
• Coordinate schedules for multiple concurrent projects and milestones.
• Provide guidance for professional communication with stakeholders.
