Qualifications

• 4+ years of engineering design and/or management experience on power distribution projects.
• Ability to independently direct a team of Engineers & Engineering Technicians.
• Familiarity with overhead and underground power distribution facilities and integration into daily activities.
• Knowledge of NESC, ASCE, IEEE and other industry standards.
• Understanding of industry design software.
• Proficiency in MS Office Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Project).

Responsibilities

• Lead projects in the preparation of utility engineering designs, cost estimates, and customer billing.
• Manage the engineering and financial aspects of multiple projects from 120V to 34.5kV.
• Prepare scope and estimates for proposals and SOQs to utility clients.
• Develop project work plans and budget projections to deploy staff.
• Review and act upon business metrics including backlog, WIP, AR, bookings and revenue.
• Coordinate schedules of multiple concurrent projects and milestones.
• Provide guidance for professional communication with stakeholders.
• Collaborate on policies reflecting best engineering practices.
