Zusammenfassung

Sigma Technologies, Ltd. is seeking an experienced Power Designer - Field to own the full lifecycle of overhead utility pole design, from field data collection through construction-ready deliverables.

You will verify field conditions to reduce handoff gaps between field and design teams while traveling for initial and ongoing project work across Oklahoma and nearby states. The role requires at least 1 year in power distribution design or make-ready engineering, familiarity with NESC standards,

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree or higher preferred.
• 1 year of experience in power distribution design or make-ready engineering; 2+ years strongly preferred.
• Experience performing utility pole walkouts and field data collection to support design work.

Aufgaben

• Perform field data collection and walkouts to gather accurate attachment, clearance, and structural data.
• Verify pole ownership, attachment types, heights, spans, guying, and equipment in the field.
• Document existing conditions and capture photos, measurements, GPS data, and field notes for design decisions.
• Develop construction-ready design packages and end-to-end joint-use or general distribution design.
• Use CAD/MicroStation and DDS or similar platforms; collaborate with engineering and project teams.
