Job summary

WSP is seeking a Project Manager for its Power Delivery Project Management team with opportunities across Rochester, NY; Syracuse, NY; New York City, NY; Boston, MA; Portland, ME; or Newark, NJ. The role entails initiating and executing Power Delivery projects, managing client relationships, and marketing WSP’s power delivery services regionally.

Qualifications

12 years of relevant post-education experience in a project management role within Power Delivery/Utility industry.
Minimum of 5 years leading engineering/construction teams on high voltage/EHV Substation and Transmission projects.
Experience working for IOUs, IPPs, Co-Ops, Munis, etc.
Proven experience with contract management, risk management, scheduling, and cost management.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills across leadership, subcontractors, and staff.

Responsibilities

Provide PM leadership for high voltage and EHV Substation/Transmission projects, including budgets, forecasts, margins, KPIs, and risk contingencies.
Develop strategies to engage stakeholders and report project progress.
Lead pursuit/initiation activities including Go/No-Go decisions, contract reviews, and risk mitigation.
