Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Program Director, Power Delivery Solutions to lead the engineering and professional services delivery for complex programs. You will supervise technical teams, monitor schedules, costs, and quality, and drive program outcomes across multiple disciplines.

Collaborating with section managers, the PMO, and BD, you will forecast revenue and operating income while advancing client initiatives. A10+ year electric utility background and strong leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering with 10+ years in electric utility engineering.
• Strong understanding of electrical, civil, structural and mechanical engineering as applied to power delivery.
• Advanced understanding of electric power utility industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Excellent team-building and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• The Program Director will manage the delivery of engineering and professional services on assigned program(s).
• Engage technical teams, review progress, evaluate effectiveness and maximize program outcomes.
• Collaborate with Section Managers; support resource management and escalation of performance gaps.
• Partner with PMO to optimize program management and provide issue deep-dives.
• Develop financial forecasts of revenue and operating income; work with BD/AM on client initiatives.
• Support VP-T&S on special projects as assigned.
