Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Program Director for Power Delivery Solutions to lead engineering and professional services in the Washington, DC area. The role requires coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, reviewing progress, and driving value for the client while aligning with contract and technical requirements.

The candidate will work with engineering managers, PMO, and BD to optimize program outcomes, improve cost performance, and ensure quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering with ten (10)+ years of experience in electric utility engineering.
• Functional understanding of electrical, civil, structural and mechanical engineering as applied to power delivery.
• Advanced understanding of electric power utility industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Excellent team building and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of engineering and professional services on assigned program(s).
• Review progress, ensure schedule adherence, and maximize program outcomes.
• Identify ways to deliver additional value to the client and Leidos services.
• Collaborate with Section Managers and PMO to optimize delivery and staffing.
• Develop financial forecasts and support business development on client initiatives.
