Job summary

Ulteig Engineers, Inc. is seeking a General Manager (GM) and VP, Power to lead the Power business unit’s strategy, delivery, profitability, and client engagement. You will report to the Chief Operating Officer and guide cross-functional teams across Substation, T&D engineering, and Project Management.

You will shape the 3–5 year Power Market strategy, align with organizational goals, and ensure resources and leadership develop to support growth while maintaining safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or related field.
• Master's degree in Engineering or Business Administration preferred.
• 12 years of experience required / 15+ years preferred in engineering consulting, critical infrastructure, technical services or similar scope.
• At least five years leading a functional group, market or multiple teams with experience in development, succession and performance management.
• Strong business planning, management, and organizational experience.
• Significant experience and knowledge in the Power Lifeline Sector preferred.
• Ability to travel up to 40% of time to meet with clients, partners and employees.
• Must have authorization to work permanently in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Provides strategic direction to the Power BU in alignment with Ulteig's Strategic Plan.
• Leads the Power leadership team to set budgets and targets based on the AOP and TSP, overseeing profitability.
• Collaborates with Power market leaders to develop 3–5 year market strategy to expand client base.
• Oversees operating departments and market teams to ensure results, quality and delivery.
• Ensures resources and service quality align with strategic objectives.
• Engages with clients and external markets, building executive-level relationships.
• Supports M&A and strategic partnerships as needed.
• Partners with CXO and ULT members on strategy execution.
