Job summary

Ulteig Engineers, Inc. seeks a General Manager (GM) and VP, Power to lead the Power BU with P&L responsibility and strategic direction. You will guide substation and T&D engineering teams, project management, and the Power Market group, reporting to the COO as part of the Ulteig Leadership Team.

You will influence strategy, allocate resources, and drive performance, growth, and operational excellence across the Power organization while collaborating with CXO peers and external clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field is required.
• Master's degree in Engineering or Business Administration preferred.
• At least 12 years of experience; 15+ preferred in engineering consulting or critical infrastructure.
• At least five years leading a functional group or multiple teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% and authorization to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction for the Power BU aligned with Ulteig's plan.
• Lead the Power leadership team to set budgets and targets and ensure profitability.
• Develop 3-5 year Power Market Strategy with leadership input.
• Oversee operating departments and ensure delivery quality and capability.
• Engage with clients and communities; build executive relationships.
• Collaborate with CXO and ULT members on execution of strategic initiatives.
