Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms is seeking a Poultry Processing Supervisor to oversee production line personnel, ensuring compliance with HACCP/SSOPs/GMPs and USDA/OSHA standards while achieving productivity and customer specs.

Responsibilities include scheduling, staffing optimization, reporting, process improvements, and collaboration with Quality Assurance. Strong leadership, English communication, and knowledge of safety programs are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in manufacturing; poultry/food preferred.
• 1+ year leadership experience; strong conflict resolution.
• Experience with timekeeping, policy adherence and quality programs.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations (USDA/OSHA); GMP/HACCP)

Responsibilities

• Manage production line/department to meet schedules and budgets.
• Deploy and rotate personnel for efficiency.
• Ensure daily reports are completed and recorded.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and reduce repeat deficiencies.
• Lead or participate in planning and implementing process improvements.
• Partner with Quality Assurance for food safety compliance with USDA standards.
• Mentor and train employees; provide consistent feedback.
• Administer performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions.
• Follow safety initiatives; ensure PPE usage.
• Collaborate with other departments to meet goals.
• Learn and adhere to Union contracts if applicable.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
