Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms in Enterprise, Alabama is seeking a Poultry Processing Supervisor to oversee the production line and department personnel, ensuring compliance with HACCP, SSOPs, GMPs and USDA/OSHA regulations while achieving productivity and satisfying customer specifications.

You will deploy and rotate staff, manage schedules, mentor teams, and partner with Quality Assurance to maintain a sanitary, food-safe operation.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing or poultry industry experience preferred.
• Leadership experience including timekeeping, policy adherence, and conflict resolution.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, OSHA, GMP and HACCP.
• Strong communication in English, written and verbal.
• Detail-oriented with organizational and multi-project management skills.
• Proficient computer and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage production line/department by establishing procedures and adjusting to meet schedules and budgets.
• Deploy and rotate personnel to optimize efficiency and ergonomics.
• Ensure daily reporting is accurately completed (e.g. attendance, yields).
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and reduce deficiencies.
• Lead or participate in process improvements and monitor metrics.
