Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC in Wisconsin is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee poultry debone and slaughter operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency across the production chain.

The role directs a team of supervisors and 100+ hourly staff, driving continuous improvement and adherence to HACCP, SSOPs, and GMPs in a fast-paced facility. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 4+ years in a similar manufacturing environment; OR an Associate's degree with 2+ years in a similar environment.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership/supervisory experience managing 20+ people.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.
• 5+ years in the food manufacturing industry and supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and assist Production Supervisors with supervising and training employees.
• Manage production processes and employee performance with feedback.
• Promote safety throughout the work area.
• Ensure compliance with food safety programs (HACCP, SSOPs, GMPs).
• Plan and implement process improvements and adjust procedures to meet schedules and budgets.
• Maximize yields and throughputs while minimizing downtime and turnover.
