Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC in St. Pauls, North Carolina, is seeking a Poultry Processing Supervisor for the Dripline 1st shift to lead production teams, ensure adherence to HACCP, GMPs and USDA requirements, and optimize throughput and quality on the line.

You will coach up to 100 employees, manage schedules, report production metrics, and partner with Quality Assurance to maintain a sanitary, safe facility while maintaining customer specifications.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing; poultry or food production preferred.
• Experience leading teams and coordinating multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage production line/department to meet schedules and budgets.
• Deploy and rotate personnel to optimize efficiency.
• Ensure daily reports including attendance and yields are completed.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and reduce deficiencies.
• Lead process improvements and monitor metrics.
• Partner with Quality Assurance to maintain USDA compliance.
• Mentor and train employees; administer performance actions.
• Follow safety initiatives and enforce PPE usage.
• Work with other departments to meet location goals.
• Understand and adhere to union contracts if applicable.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
