Job summary

Wayne Farms in North Carolina is seeking a Poultry Processing Supervisor to oversee production line personnel, ensuring all procedures align with HACCP, SSOPs, GMPs and USDA/OSHA standards while achieving productivity and customer satisfaction.

You will mentor staff, coordinate cross-department efforts, and implement process improvements. The role requires strong leadership, communication in English, and a focus on safety and quality in a fast-paced poultry environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year in manufacturing, with three years in food manufacturing preferred.
• Experience leading teams, with ability to resolve issues efficiently.
• Knowledge of timekeeping, policies, and safety/quality regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage production line by establishing procedures to meet schedules and budgets.
• Deploy personnel to optimize efficiency and ergonomics.
• Ensure daily reports and staffing yields are accurately completed.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and reduce deficiencies.
• Lead planning and implementation of process improvements and monitor metrics.
• Partner with QA to ensure food safety and USDA compliance.
• Mentor and train employees; administer performance improvement plans.
• Follow safety initiatives and ensure PPE usage to maintain zero accidents.
• Collaborate with other departments to meet location goals.
• Learn and adhere to current Union contracts if applicable.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
