Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year in manufacturing; 3 years in food/poultry preferred.
• Leadership experience including timekeeping, policy adherence, conflict resolution; resolve issues effectively.
• English communication required; multilingual abilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production line/department personnel to meet schedules and productivity targets.
• Deploy and rotate personnel to optimize efficiency and ergonomics.
• Ensure daily reports are completed (attendance, yields, etc.).
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and defect reduction.
• Partner with Quality Assurance to maintain USDA-compliant, sanitary environment.
• Mentor, coach, and train employees; provide feedback and development guidance.
• Administer performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions.
• Follow safety policies and ensure PPE usage; promote zero-accident culture.
• Collaborate with other departments to meet location goals; adhere to union contract if applicable.
