Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms is seeking a Poultry Processing Supervisor to oversee production line personnel, ensuring adherence to HACCP, GMPs, USDA and OSHA standards while achieving productivity targets.

The role requires leadership experience in manufacturing, knowledge of poultry processing, and strong communication skills in English. Responsibilities include scheduling, reporting, process improvements, and staff development in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 1+ year in a manufacturing environment; 3+ years in food/poultry preferred.
• Leadership experience including timekeeping, policy adherence, conflict resolution.
• Strong knowledge of poultry processing, food safety regs (OSHA, GMP, HACCP).
• Excellent English communication, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production line/department personnel to meet schedules and budgets.
• Deploy and rotate staff to optimize efficiency and ergonomics.
• Maintain accurate daily reports (attendance, yields, etc.).
• Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste and downtime.
• Partner with Quality Assurance to ensure USDA compliance and sanitary practices.
• Mentor and train employees; administer performance actions as needed.
• Ensure safety policies are followed and PPE usage is observed.
