Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms seeks a Poultry Processing Supervisor to lead production line teams, ensure compliance with HACCP, SSOPs, GMPs and USDA/OSHA regulations, and meet productivity targets.

The role supervises up to 100 employees, mentors staff, coordinates with Quality Assurance for a sanitary, food-safe environment, and supports continuous process improvements while adhering to the union contract if applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing setting with leadership duties.
• Knowledge of food safety practices (HACCP, GMPs) and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise production line/department personnel to meet schedules and budgets.
• Deploy and rotate staff to optimize efficiency and ergonomics.
• Ensure accurate daily reporting and record-keeping.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and waste reduction.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to maintain food safety and sanitation.
