Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms seeks a Poultry Processing Supervisor to oversee production lines and departments, ensuring procedures align with HACCP, SSOPs, GMPs and USDA/OSHA standards while attaining productivity targets. You will mentor staff, enforce safety programs, and collaborate with QA to sustain a sanitary operation.

Requires 1+ year in manufacturing, leadership experience, and knowledge of poultry processing and food safety regs; strong English communication and computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year experience in manufacturing; poultry industry preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership including scheduling, timekeeping and coaching.
• Working knowledge of poultry processing and food safety regulations (USDA, HACCP, GMP, SSOPs).
• Able to communicate in English, both verbal and written.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Proficient computer and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage production line/department by establishing procedures and adjusting to meet schedules and budgets.
• Deploy personnel to optimize efficiency and ergonomics to meet production demands.
• Ensure daily reports (attendance, yields, etc.) are completed accurately.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and reduce deficiencies.
• Lead in planning and implementing process improvements and monitor metrics.
• Partner with QA to maintain a safe, sanitary environment and USDA compliance.
