Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms in the United States is seeking a Poultry Processing Supervisor to lead production line personnel and ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, USDA and OSHA standards. You will drive productivity, coach teams, and manage daily reporting while maintaining quality and safety.

The role requires leadership experience in manufacturing or poultry, strong communication in English, and a commitment to process improvements and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year’s experience within a manufacturing setting.
• Three years’ experience in food manufacturing or poultry industry preferred.
• Leadership experience including timekeeping, policy adherence, conflict resolution.
• Working knowledge of poultry processing, food safety regulations, OSHA guidelines, GMP and HACCP.
• Ability to communicate in English with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage production line/department to meet schedules, budgets and efficiency targets.
• Deploy and rotate personnel to optimize efficiency and ergonomics.
• Ensure daily reports and staffing data are accurately recorded.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and waste reduction.
• Lead process improvements and monitor improvement metrics.
• Partner with QA to ensure a safe, sanitary environment per USDA requirements.
• Mentor, coach and train employees; provide constructive feedback.
• Administer performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions.
• Follow safety initiatives and ensure PPE use where required.
• Collaborate with other departments to meet location goals.
• Learn and adhere to Union contract if applicable.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
