Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms is seeking a Poultry Processing Supervisor to lead production line personnel, ensuring compliance with HACCP, SSOPs, GMPs, and USDA/OSHA standards. You will oversee scheduling, ergonomics, and daily reporting, while driving process improvements and strong teamwork across shifts.

The role requires knowledge of poultry processing, food safety regulations, and leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

Minimum one year of manufacturing experience.
Three years in food manufacturing or poultry preferred.
Leadership experience including timekeeping, policy adherence and conflict resolution.
Knowledge of poultry processing and food safety regulations (OSHA, GMP, HACCP).
Strong English communication skills, written and verbal.
Proficient computer and math skills.
Self-starter with initiative in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Manage production line by establishing procedures to meet schedules and budgets.
Deploy and rotate staff to optimize efficiency and ergonomics.
Complete and file daily departmental reports and staff data.
Identify opportunities to optimize throughput, reduce waste and improve quality.
Lead process improvements and monitor metrics for trends.
Collaborate with QA to maintain sanitary, USDA-compliant environment.
Provide coaching, feedback and performance improvement actions.
