Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms in Decatur, Alabama seeks a Poultry Processing Supervisor for Retail or Further processing lines. You will supervise department personnel, ensure HACCP/SSOPs/GMPs and USDA/OSHA compliance while achieving productivity and meeting customer specs.

You will deploy staff, drive efficiency, mentor workers, and collaborate with Quality Assurance to maintain a safe, sanitary environment. This role supervises up to 100 employees and requires strong leadership and communication.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; an Associate's degree is preferred.
• Minimum one year in manufacturing; three years in food manufacturing or poultry preferred.
• One year leadership experience including timekeeping and policy adherence; three years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise retail or further processing production lines to meet schedules and budgets.
• Deploy and rotate personnel to maximize efficiency and ergonomics.
• Ensure accurate daily reporting of attendance, yields, and staffing.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and reduce repeat deficiencies.
• Mentor and train employees; administer performance actions.
