Job summary

Koch Foods is seeking a leadership-focused Hatchery Operations Manager in Georgia. The role oversees hatchery operations to ensure chick quality, production and on-time delivery, with responsibility for planning production, managing budgets and capital projects.

The position requires strong tech/computer and math skills, plus 3+ years of hatchery leadership experience and a Bachelor in Animal/Poultry Science or related field. Excellent communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree preferred in Animal, Poultry Science or related field.
• 3+ years poultry hatchery experience in a leadership role preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements surrounding animal welfare.
• Excellent technology, computer and math skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage hatchery operations to ensure chick quality, production and delivery.
• Plan production and manage spending and capital improvement projects.
• Control labor cost and manage maintenance, supply spend and vaccination program.
• All other relevant duties to the job.
