Job summary

Mountaire Farms is seeking a supervisor to ensure department operations align with quality, efficiency, and safety goals. You will oversee staffing, follow SOPs and GPPs, and uphold food safety standards during daily production.

The role requires HACCP knowledge, adherence to USDA sanitation guidelines, and a track record of supervising poultry operations. Strong time-management and training completion support ongoing safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Agriculture, Operations Management and/or Business.
• 3+ years’ demonstrated supervisory experience in lieu of degree and previous poultry experience preferred.
• HACCP knowledge and experience.
• USDA regulations on sanitation and pre-operations guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure orders are fulfilled with correct staffing numbers daily and follow SOPs and GPPs.
• Follow product quality and packaging specs and address defects; ensure food safety regulations are met.
• Meet department metrics (BMPH, Cost/lb, PPMH, A Grade%).
• Complete Kronos and Oracle HCM time off requests and finish safety and certification trainings.
