Qualifikationen

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing setting.
• 3 years in food manufacturing or poultry industry preferred.
• Demonstrated 1 year of leadership experience, with 3 years preferred.
• Working knowledge of poultry processing, food safety regulations (OSHA, GMP, HACCP).
• Strong communication in English, written and verbal; multilingual a plus.

Aufgaben

• Manage production line/department to meet schedules and budget objectives.
• Deploy and rotate personnel to optimize efficiency and ergonomics.
• Ensure daily reporting (attendance, yields, departmental reports) is accurate.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and reduce deficiencies.
• Lead or participate in process improvements and monitor metrics.
• Partner with Quality Assurance to ensure a safe, sanitary environment per USDA requirements.
• Mentor and train employees; administer performance actions fairly.
• Follow safety initiatives and ensure use of PPE; promote zero-accident culture.
• Collaborate with other departments to meet location goals; adhere to union contract if applicable.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
