Job summary

Banner Estrella Medical Center, a magnet-designated hospital, seeks a part-time Day Shift Registered Nurse for the Postpartum unit. This role supports mothers and babies, collaborates with a multidisciplinary team, and uses a self-scheduling tool for shifts.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in acute care nursing is preferred and Banner requires at least one year in an acute care setting for some roles.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and provide nursing care per the plan of care.
• Coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes.
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record.
