Job summary

Banner University Medical Center Tucson is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Antepartum/Postpartum unit. The role includes direct patient care for new moms and babies in a 24-bed unit with a focus on safe, evidence-based maternity services.

Night shifts are available with a weekend differential and an 18% night shift differential. Experienced RN in postpartum or labor and delivery preferred; new graduates encouraged to apply to the Clinical Ladder program for growth.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in antepartum/postpartum or labor and delivery preferred.
• New graduate nurses with less than 12 months of experience encouraged to apply?

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan care across physical, psychological and developmental domains.
• Formulate and revise plans of care in collaboration with the patient and care team.
• Implement care and coordinate with licensed staff and other personnel.
• Document care and patient responses accurately in the chart.
• Provide education and support to patients and families.
• Participate in unit leadership and staff development activities.
