Job summary

Banner Health seeks a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for the Antepartum unit at University Medical Center Phoenix on the night shift. You will provide evidence-based nursing care to mothers and infants, coordinating with the WIS department and ensuring safe discharge planning.

You will participate in ongoing education and support for certification, with opportunities to mentor staff in a Magnet-certified setting.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Experience in maternity or obstetrics nursing preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to assess patient needs and develop care plans.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, and developmental needs and discharge planning.
• Formulate and implement a comprehensive care plan with input from patient/family and health team.
• Provide direct patient care and supervise staff in accordance with policies and standards.
• Evaluate patient response to care and update plans as needed.
• Document care accurately in patient records and communicate effectively with the care team.
