Job summary

Banner Health's University Medical Center Phoenix (BUMC Phoenix) Antepartum unit is seeking a Registered Nurse for the NIGHT shift (7:00 PM–7:30 AM). The antepartum team provides care for high- and low-risk pregnancies within a Magnet-certified academic medical center, with a focus on evidence-based practice and patient-centered learning.

Qualifications

Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice.
BLS certification is required.
Experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
Bachelor's degree or higher is preferred.
Arizona Fingerprint Clearance or related background checks may be required at some Banner facilities.

Responsibilities

Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and discharge planning needs.
Formulate and implement a care plan with discharge planning and goals.
Coordinate and supervise nursing activities and communicate with care team.
Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
Document assessments, plans, and outcomes in the patient record; ensure timely communication.
