St. David's North Austin Medical Center is seeking a Postpartum Registered Nurse to educate and assist new mothers during the postpartum period. You will care for both mother and newborn on the Mother Baby Unit, working with a collaborative team to ensure safe, high-quality care.

The role requires 1 year of RN experience, with preferred acute care experience, and an Associates degree in Nursing (BSN preferred). Current Texas RN license, BLS and NRP certifications are required by policy.

Formación

• 1 year of clinical nursing experience as an RN.
• Acute care experience is preferred.
• Texas RN license in good standing or compact license with 90-day Texas licensing requirement.
• NRP and BLS certifications required per policy.

Responsabilidades

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments for mother and baby per standards of care.
• Plan, implement and evaluate care plans to optimize outcomes and resources.
• Provide direct nursing care and supervise non-licensed staff within RN scope.
• Educate and support patients and families, recognizing postpartum depression.
