Job summary

MetroHealth in Ohio is seeking a Critical Care Step-Down RN for 7 West, with 72 Bi-Weekly hours and rotating shifts. Join a unit with 24 beds and advanced telemetry, supporting congestive heart failure, COPD, DKA and sepsis patients.

The role requires Ohio RN licensure, BLS, ACLS; BSN preferred. Eligible for sign-on bonus up to $10,000 for experienced RNs and $5,000 for new graduates.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Ohio RN license required.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required or obtained within 90 days.
• ACLS certification required or obtained within 6 months.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret EKGs and monitor telemetry in a CCU setting.
• Assist with bedside procedures (endoscopies, bronchoscopies) and post-procedure care.
• Collaborate with Patient Care Nursing Assistants, Nurse Interns, Providers, PT and OT.
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to congestive heart failure, COPD, DKA and sepsis patients.
