Job summary

Saab, Inc. seeks a Post-Delivery Program Manager to oversee sustainment for fielded systems delivered to DoD. You will be the primary contact for post-delivery activities, coordinating with program leadership, customers, and cross-functional Saab teams throughout the lifecycle.

The role requires strong leadership, program management, and a focus on quality, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement. Must hold a U.S. citizenship and a Secret security clearance; travel up to 15% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related discipline with 5+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s with 3+ years.
• Experience in a collaborative team environment.
• Experience in Project Management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Visio, Excel, Project, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, decentralized environment.
• Understanding of quality and continuous improvement concepts, Lean and Six Sigma.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to drive cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Must currently hold a Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary post-delivery contact for Saab program leadership, customers, and internal teams.
• Provide leadership and oversight of depot and customer support activities, controlling cost and schedule.
• Manage Basic Order Agreements, including quoting, PO reviews, and task orders.
• Handle spares/repair quoting, orders, and service contracts for integrations and on-site testing.
• Coordinate service event planning with customers, Saab engineers, and field technicians.
• Support field technicians by arranging parts and follow-up discussions with Saab teams.
• Coordinate spares and repairs with Contracts, Finance, CM, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Test.
• Track on-time delivery and key metrics; manage cost, schedule, and quality objectives.
• Contribute to revenue forecasts and order projections in financial planning cycles.
• Analyze failure trends, request RCCA, and mitigate inventory risks.
• Complete system handovers with Production PMs for smooth transitions.
• Develop customer reports aligned with customer models and present updates at PMRs.
• Ensure compliance with Saab SOPs and identify process improvements.
• Travel up to 15% annually, domestic and international.
