Job summary

Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky, seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Post-Acute Nursing (Skilled Nursing) Unit. This full-time role offers a 6:30–7:00 schedule with rotating weekends and a $15,000 commitment bonus for two-year service.

The RN will deliver direct patient care using the nursing process, coordinate with the care team, document thoroughly, and educate patients and families across adult to geriatric populations.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice as an RN in Kentucky (active KY license)
• Associate degree required; bachelor's degree preferred
• BCLS within 90 days of hire; ACLS preferred for Charge RN
• Two-year commitment bonus of $15,000 available for full-time RN on Post-Acute Nursing Unit

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process per policy and standards.
• Plan, delegate and coordinate nursing care with the health care team.
• Document assessments, plans, interventions and patient responses.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed; monitor for adverse effects.
• Educate patients and families using teach-back methods; update care plans as needed.
