Job summary

Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Post Acute Nursing (Skilled Nursing) Unit. A $20,000 commitment bonus applies with a two-year commitment (one year on nights). Nights Full Time 6:30-7:00 Rotating Weekends.

The RN provides direct patient care, collaborates with the health care team, and ensures high-quality outcomes. We value education, credentialing and teamwork, with Kentucky licensure required and ACLS preferred for leadership roles.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license to practice in Kentucky.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using the nursing process.
• Plan, delegate and coordinate nursing care with the team.
• Document assessments, plans and interventions in the EMR.
• Educate patients and families using teach-back method.
• Ensure safe medication administration and treatment delivery.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists and other staff to meet patient goals.
• Supervise and coordinate nursing staff based on acuity and coverage.
• Respond to emergencies and patient safety events promptly.
