Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in Kentucky
• BCLS certification within 90 days of hire
• ACLS preferred for Charge RN position

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care using the nursing process per organizational standards.
• Plan, delegate and coordinate care with health care team to meet patient goals.
• Supervise nursing staff and coordinate unit duties based on acuity and skill.
• Document care plans, assessments and patient education in the EMR.
• Maintain safety and infection control standards and respond to emergencies.
• Assist physicians with bedside procedures and patient care activities.
• Participate in huddles, briefs and bedside reports to ensure quality care.
