St. Rose Hospital is seeking a Post-Acute Business Office Supervisor to oversee the overall business office operations for post-acute services and safeguard assets through strong internal controls. The role drives cash flow optimization and aligns AR metrics with the company’s financial goals.

The position involves acting as a financial liaison between the St. Rose Business Office and AHS Patient Financial Services, coordinating with accounting and reimbursements to support audit and compliance

Qualifications

• Billing experience in a post-acute/skilled nursing facility setting.
• Experience leading a business office or similar team.
• Strong Medicare, HMO and Medi-Cal billing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Daily census tracking for SNF to ensure accurate billing.
• Monthly posting of required ancillaries for Medicare and Insurance Billing for D/P SNF.
• Mailing of monthly private statements for Medi-Cal Share of Cost and Private Pay billing for D/P SNF.
• Evaluates performances of employees and assists them in developing to their full potential.
• Directly supervise Admissions Coordinator and oversee insurance verification for SNF referrals.
• Collaborate with SNF Case Manager to ensure insurance coverages and authorizations throughout stay.
