Job summary

RiverPointe Post-Acute in Carmichael, CA, is seeking a seasoned Business Office Manager to supervise billing, accounts receivable, and resident trust funds. You will manage Medicaid, Medicare, managed care, hospice, and other claims, ensuring accurate balances and timely collections.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Business Office Manager in skilled nursing/long-term care is required.
• Experience with Medicaid/Medicare/HMO billing and collections is essential.
• Experience with PCC billing system is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of billing, coding, and reimbursement in SNFs.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lead and develop a team with strong communication.
• Proficiency in healthcare software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Oversee billing for Medicaid, Medicare, managed care, hospice and other claims.
• Supervise resident accounting and accounts receivable functions; input billing data.
• Manage front-end and back-end collections of A/R balances with residents.
• Handle Medicaid pending applications and conversions to timely resolutions.
• Perform month-end closing of the billing system per policy and timelines.
• Process charges, adjustments, refunds, postings, and write-offs; ensure timely letters.
