Job summary

CBTS is seeking a motivated POS Hardware & Network Support Tech for onsite work in Burbank, CA. You will install, troubleshoot, and maintain POS hardware and networking, ensuring seamless operation of POS registers, printers, EMV devices, and related peripherals.

The role emphasizes quick issue resolution, collaboration with internal teams, and support for MS Dynamics 365 Commerce/Retail and Square POS environments. Onsite availability and customer-focused service are essential.

Qualifications

• Hands‑on experience with POS hardware, printers, EMV devices, and related peripherals.
• Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Wi‑Fi) and POS integration expertise.
• Customer-centric communicator who can work independently and in teams.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and support POS hardware and software systems.
• Troubleshoot POS registers, printers, monitors, and payment devices; resolve hardware and software issues quickly.
• Diagnose network connectivity problems affecting POS environments (LAN/WAN, DHCP/DNS, TCP/IP).
• Support Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce/Retail and/or Square POS environments.
• Perform hardware upgrades, replacements, and preventive maintenance.
• Document incidents and changes; collaborate with vendors and internal teams.
• Maintain responsiveness and professionalism during critical operations; participate in on‑call rotations.
