Job summary

Sharp Brains is seeking experienced Field Service Engineers / IT Technicians to provide onsite support for POS and payment systems. Install, configure, replace, and test devices, delivering a White Glove customer experience.

You will troubleshoot hardware, networking, and peripherals, complete service reports, and coordinate with onsite staff to provide timely status updates—working onsite under dispatch-based arrangements.

Qualifications

• Experience with POS/payment systems or similar IT hardware.
• Hands-on hardware installation and troubleshooting.
• Basic networking and peripheral connectivity knowledge.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Professional appearance and White Glove service approach.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently onsite.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, replace, and test POS/payment devices.
• Troubleshoot hardware, connectivity, and peripheral issues.
• Perform basic Ethernet, TCP/IP, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
• Complete service reports, device records, site photos, and customer sign-off.
• Coordinate with onsite staff and provide timely status updates.
