Job summary

Legends Global is seeking an on-site POS IT support specialist to travel to live events and install, configure, and maintain POS systems and peripherals. You will establish network connectivity, test systems, and ensure uptime across venues while assisting staff and resolving issues quickly.

The role requires a 2-year degree or 2+ years in help desk or POS support, with knowledge of AtVenu, Square, or Retail Cloud. On-site work at Legends locations nationwide with travel up to 35% is expected.

Qualifications

• 2-year degree or 2+ years of work experience in help desk, desktop, application, or POS support.
• Preferred knowledge of POS systems such as AtVenu, Square, or Retail Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Travel to event sites to install and configure POS systems and peripherals.
• Establish and test network connectivity to ensure reliable POS operations.
• Prepare and stage equipment prior to event launch.
• Monitor and maintain POS systems during events and resolve issues promptly.
• Provide on-site IT support for staff and troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
• Safely dismantle and pack POS equipment for return shipment.
• Document system performance and report issues for follow-up.
• Support end-user applications and perform software updates as needed.
• Maintain security policies and data protection standards.
• Occasionally provide after-hours support and travel to events as required.
• Asset management of POS hardware and peripherals.
• Maintain POS portals, discounts, product, and user access.
• Create ERP events tying into POS activities.
