Job summary

KwickPOS, a fast-growing software company serving the restaurant and hospitality industries, is seeking a high-performing IT Support specialist to deliver frontline POS support to our customers. In this role you will configure, troubleshoot, and deploy POS terminals; assist field technicians; and train clients on system usage while coordinating with vendors for incident resolution.

Candidates should have experience with Windows/Linux, SQL Server, basic networking, and excellent customer service;

Qualifications

• 2+ years IT experience in POS or restaurant tech preferred.
• Experience with Windows/Linux operating systems and AD environment.
• Knowledge of SQL Server database environment beneficial.
• Basic knowledge of computer networks and infrastructure design.
• Strong customer service skills and remote support experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Specialists and Field Technicians.
• Provide frontline POS support for restaurant systems.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and deploy POS terminals, printers, and scanners.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Train clients on POS usage and best practices.
• Coordinate with vendors for incident resolution.
• Assist with networking/broadband issue troubleshooting.
• Maintain troubleshooting docs and FAQs for users.
