Job summary

TRUNO Retail Technology Solutions seeks a POS Field Service Technician to support grocery retailers across the assigned territory. You will respond to service calls, troubleshoot hardware including printers, scales, wrappers, and networking gear, and document work meticulously.

The role requires travel within a 150-mile radius, after-hours availability, and strong customer service. Associates degree preferred; CompTIA A+/Network+ preferred; Windows/MS Office experience; 1 year of tech service

Qualifications

• Associates degree in IT or related field preferred.
• 1 year of tech service experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Windows and MS Office required.
• Experience with electronics/technology hardware preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests promptly and document work with details.
• Interact with store personnel and Truno team positively.
• Maintain regular hours and after-hours availability when needed.
• Travel within a 150-mile radius with limited overnight stays.
• Troubleshoot, fault isolate, repair, and test in-store equipment.
• Use basic power tools and hand tools as needed.
• Provide preventive maintenance on POS equipment and related hardware.
• Configure software/hardware and perform installs/upgrades as required.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies.
• Stay updated on equipment knowledge across service territory.
