Job summary

CompucomStaffing, a division of CompuCom Systems, Inc., is seeking a Field Technician to support Carmel, IN. The technician will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair POS systems, printers, and related hardware, ensuring high-quality customer service and product knowledge on-site.

• Experience troubleshooting and repairing POS or computer hardware systems.
• Basic understanding of networking concepts.
• Ability to perform light physical/contractor tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service while supporting clients and staff.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair POS systems and printers.
• Document work, update configurations, and perform hardware/software upgrades.
• Diagnose product failures and order replacement parts.
• Train employees on system usage.
• Coordinate with Team Lead or Field Services Manager.
