Motion Recruitment is seeking a Field Service Technician for a 2-month contract in Indianapolis, IN. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair POS systems, printers, and related hardware for a diverse client base.

The role requires hands-on hardware experience, Lexmark and printer break-fix proficiency, and strong customer service skills. A valid driver's license and willingness to on-call rotate are essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on field service experience with hardware repair and break-fix.
• Experience with Lexmark printers and related equipment.
• Experience with HP, Dell, and Lenovo printers.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service while supporting clients and staff.
• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair POS systems and printers.
• Diagnose technical issues and communicate solutions clearly.
• Document work performed and upgrade/install hardware as needed.
• Perform light contractor tasks (drilling, mounting, cabling).
• Train end users on supported systems and equipment.
• Report to Team Lead/Field Services Manager.
