TRUNO Retail Technology Solutions in Austin, TX is seeking a POS Field Service Technician to respond to service requests, diagnose, repair, and test in-store POS hardware and related equipment.

You will travel within a 150-mile radius, maintain strong documentation, and perform preventative maintenance on POS devices and other hardware. Strong customer service and communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in IT or related field preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of technology service experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office required.
• Practical experience with electronics/technology hardware preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests in a timely manner and document details.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and test in-store POS equipment and related hardware.
• Travel within a 150-mile radius with limited overnight stays.
• Maintain inventory and ensure proper parts usage and documentation.
• Provide preventative maintenance on POS devices and other hardware.
• Configure software/hardware and perform installs/upgrades as needed.
• Maintain professional appearance and adhere to policies.
